My first real dye project

This week has been full of stuff to do! And I hate to admit that my loom has been almost completely neglected. However, I have been hatching a colorful plan all week. I am extremely happy to announce my first dyeing project! I love the results. I used some violet food coloring on some Shetland fleece. The blue didn't stick as much as I thought it would, but in return I was surprised with a stunning pink!

No yarn of the day today. This is "yarn in progress", that's close enough right?
